Christmas Play
Our play is still scheduled for December 19th at 10:00. However, dress rehearsal has been moved to Tuesday, December 17th. Please be sure to send costumes on Tuesday! They may stay in the classroom until Thursday for the play. If you are having trouble finding something for a costume, please let me know so I can help.

Christmas Party
Please do not forget to send a gift for our Christmas Party by this Friday.

Math Test
We will have a math test this Wednesday. We will have our 100 problem test Wednesday on 1-7 facts.

Spelling Test
There will be NO retakes for the spelling tests on Fridays. The grade they make on Thursdays will be what goes in the grade book for the week.

Science
We will have a solar system test on Friday. Look for the study guide on Thursday. We will be reviewing this all week so they should have no problem studying!

December 20 - End of the 2nd Nine weeks
December 23- January 3 - Christmas Break

Spelling words

line, pipe, wise, smile, glide, high, sigh, fright, sight, light, fine, wide, right, time, night

bonus words to study: Merry Christmas, Rudolph, stocking. (Study all three of these words during the week. I will pick one on Thursday to use as the bonus word.)
We will also have a dictation sentence each week.

Homework

Homework will mostly be the same each week. The main thing that will change will be the math pages sent home. These will be sent home in the daily homework folder.

Reading: The Blind Men and the Elephant, study vocabulary

Spelling: Study spelling words

Math: worksheet or workbook page (depending upon the skill)
Classwork: finish any classwork not finished at school
