Maternity Leave Sub!!

I know you have all been waiting so patiently to find out who will be subbing for me while I am out. Well it has finally been decided. Debbie Arrington will be with my class for the entire time. I am glad it worked out where one person would be with my class the entire time.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

I will do my very best to keep you all updated over Christmas break as to when Mrs. Arrington will start. I will also try to post a picture of our little one as soon as I can so that you can show the kiddos.

I will greatly miss each of my students while I am out, but I can't wait to meet our little one and spend some time with him.

I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!! And stay safe while you travel!!!

Christmas Tree

I was wondering if anyone had a small artificial Christmas tree that I could borrow to use in our classroom. (I have one in storage that I normally use but I have no idea where it is right now or if I can even get to it.) I would also need lights for the tree if it is not pre-lit.

I am asking that each child bring an ornament to decorate our tree. Please make sure to put their name on the ornament so that I can return it to the right person. This does not have to be a new ornament. It can be one that you already have at home that they would like to bring to school. I will send all the ornaments back home the day of our Christmas party. I am asking for all ornaments be on the tree by the Friday after Thanksgiving break (December 6).

We will have our Christmas party on December 20th, but I am not sure of the time. As soon as I find that out I will let you know.

I will post about our Christmas party, play, and how we will do presents for our party after Thanksgiving Break.

Welcome To Third Grade!!!

I hope you all are as excited as I am about the new school year ahead!!! I cannot wait to get to know everyone this year!

Just a few things that I thought I would mention to you before Monday:

2. Please be sure to send the large lunch card back to school. I will keep these in the classroom for them to use when they go through the lunch line.

Thank you so much to everyone who came today! I enjoyed meeting everyone and am looking forward to seeing you all on Monday morning!!!
